FOR A BOOK
FRONTRUNNER | Visions of Sonic Intimacy, is a cross-disciplinary project that merges graphic and sound design/composition. Simply put, it is a soundtrack for a book. More specifically, it comprises two main parts, separate but intrinsic to each other. The first being the visual: the writing, photo editing, collage and layout of the book. The second, the aural: design, composition and editing of multiple sounds to accompany the book viewing/reading experience.
This is a soundtrack for a book. A collection of characters reminisced about in images, sounds and some words, spanning four years in Berlin. It was launched at Zwitschermaschine gallery on Potsdamerstraße in Berlin, March 2022.
